Shipping and returns

Shipping in Denmark, the EU and selected international destinations

Orders are packed and dispatched from Haderslev. Available delivery methods, current prices and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Pickup points are selected manually based on the customer's delivery address. Tracking details are emailed when the order is marked as shipped.

We deliver to Denmark, selected EU countries and selected international destinations. International shipping prices depend on the destination and parcel weight and are shown clearly at checkout before payment. Delivery to selected EU countries normally takes up to 7 business days.

International deliveries outside the EU

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered products may be imported into their destination country and for all customs formalities, import duties, taxes, carrier handling fees and any local permits. These charges are not included in the product or delivery price unless we clearly state otherwise at checkout.

If a parcel is refused, uncollected or stopped because of local import requirements, the customer is responsible for the carrier's documented return, storage or handling charges. Any eligible refund is processed after the goods return to us, with deductions only where permitted by applicable law.

Damaged, defective or incorrect orders

Email sakinahbookstore@hotmail.com as soon as possible with the order number and clear photographs. Keep the goods and packaging until the matter has been resolved.

Using the right of withdrawal

Notify the store within 14 days after receiving the goods. After the notice, return the goods within a further 14 days. You may send an email or use the standard withdrawal form.

Return costs and address

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer pays the direct cost of returning the goods and is responsible for them until they arrive. Do not send goods cash on delivery or without distribution. Returns should be sent to:

Eligible refunds are made using the original payment method. The store may wait until the returned goods have been received or the customer has provided proof of return.
