Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK). The final product price, delivery charge and any discount are displayed before payment. Sakinah Bookstore is not VAT registered and does not charge or state VAT on invoices. Payment is completed through Stripe's secure hosted checkout. The order is paid only after Stripe confirms the payment.

Order confirmation

After payment, the customer receives an order confirmation by email containing the purchase details, seller information and withdrawal instructions. Please contact the store if the confirmation does not arrive.

Delivery

Available delivery methods, prices and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout. We deliver to Denmark, selected EU countries and selected international destinations. International delivery prices depend on the destination and parcel weight; the total delivery charge is shown before payment. Delivery to selected EU countries normally takes up to 7 business days. Pickup points are selected manually based on the delivery address. The customer is responsible for providing a complete address, email address and telephone number.

Orders delivered outside the EU

For deliveries outside the EU, the customer is responsible for checking that the goods may be imported into the destination country and for any customs clearance, import duties, taxes, carrier handling fees, licences or other local charges. These amounts are not included unless they are explicitly shown at checkout. The customer is also responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact details and for collecting the parcel when requested by the carrier.

If an international parcel is refused, not collected, or cannot be delivered because of local import rules or missing customs information, the customer remains responsible for return, storage and carrier fees charged to Sakinah Bookstore. Any refund is handled after the returned goods have been received, less documented delivery, return and carrier charges where permitted by applicable law. This section does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

14-day right of withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days from the day the goods are received. To exercise this right, send an unambiguous notice to sakinahbookstore@hotmail.com before the deadline. The standard withdrawal form may be used, but it is not mandatory.

After notifying the store, the goods must be returned within a further 14 days. The customer pays the direct return cost and is responsible for the goods until they are received. The customer may inspect the goods as they would in a physical shop, but may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.

Refund after withdrawal

Payments received for the withdrawn purchase, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered, are refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. The refund may be withheld until the goods have been received or proof of return has been provided.

Complaints and damaged goods

Danish statutory consumer complaint rights apply. Contact the store as soon as possible with the order number and clear photographs if goods arrive damaged, defective or incorrect. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
