About the Author

Habib Kazim Jafar is a Sayyid and scholar from Yemen. He studied a range of Islamic disciplines, including tasawwuf, fiqh, sirah, aqidah, usul al-fiqh, hadith and the related sciences.

His studies took him through respected centres of knowledge in Yemen, including Bayda and Tarim. He memorised the Quran under Habib Saʿd bin ʿAlawi al-ʿAydarus and also studied at the renowned Ribat of Tarim.

Habib Kazim traces his lineage through the noble scholars Shaykh ʿAbd al-Rahman al-Saqqaf and al-Faqih al-Muqaddam Muhammad bin ʿAli to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
